  • Where is U-pick located?

    Our picking location may change based on the field rotation and availability. Signs will guide you when you arrive, or you can ask one of our team members at the market – we’re happy to point you in the right direction.

  • Do I need to bring my own buckets?

    No need! We provide buckets and baskets for picking. If you bring your own container, keep in mind that our scales are calibrated for our buckets, so other containers may add to the weight.

  • When’s the best time to pick?

    Mornings are peaceful and cool, but you may run into some dew on the bushes. Late morning – around 9 to 10 a.m. – is usually a great time when the sun has dried the rows a bit.

  • What should I wear?

    Whatever’s comfortable! Just don’t forget your sunscreen and wear shoes you don’t mind getting a little dusty or damp.

  • Where can I park?

    There’s an open grassy area right next to a large tent. You can’t miss it! Leave your car in the grass, and meet us under the tent for your bucket.

  • Can I bring a stroller or wagon?

    Yes! Strollers and wagons are welcome in the fields and are especially helpful for kids or carrying your harvest.

  • Are there restrooms available?

    There are porta-potties on site.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    For the safety of our crops and all guests, we kindly ask that you leave pets at home.

  • Can we eat on-site?

    Yes! Pack a picnic and enjoy it at one of our shaded picnic tables near the playground. It’s a great way to end your picking adventure.

  • How much does U-Pick cost?

    Blueberries are $1.85 per pound. There’s no entry fee – just pay for what you pick!

  • What blueberry varieties will I find at Blueberry Hill?

    Our U-pick fields feature several tried-and-true varieties:

    • Bluecrop – A well-balanced, dependable favorite—great for everything from pies to snacking.
    • Elliott – A late-season variety that’s firm and tart with great keeping power (usually ready mid-August).
    • Coville – Big berries with bold, tangy flavor. A go-to for baking or just enjoying fresh.
    • Earliblue – This berry gets its name for being one of the first to ripen. Sweet, aromatic, and a perfect early-season treat.
    • Jersey – Extra sweet and juicy! Exceptional choice for jams, baking, or just savoring by the handful.
